Celebrate Mothers’ Day with a special concert and afternoon tea in the Saloon at Fairfax House.
Fairfax House is hosting a very special concert to celebrate Mothers’ Day on Sunday 3 April 2011. Enjoy wonderful and music and song, and a traditional afternoon tea, in the splendid surroundings of the Saloon. To celebrate the opening of our new exhibition, Gilding the Lily, a floral theme will run through the musical selection for the afternoon, as singer Jessa Liversidge and pianist Malcolm Maddock (from York Musical Theatre Company) invite you to join them on a musical journey through some well-known flower-themed songs.
The concert runs from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm on Sunday 3 April 2011. Tickets are £16.00 (£14.00 York Civic Trust members and Friends of Fairfax House), inclusive of afternoon tea.
